The process begins with a comprehensive consultation where our implant specialist assesses your oral health, takes X-rays, and discusses your goals. We evaluate bone structure and gum health to ensure you’re a suitable candidate for implants.
During this stage, the dental implant (a titanium post) is surgically placed into the jawbone. This procedure is performed under local anesthesia, ensuring your comfort. The implant will serve as the foundation for your new tooth.
The healing period, known as osseointegration, allows the implant to naturally fuse with the jawbone. This process can take a few months, during which the implant becomes securely integrated, creating a strong base for the crown.
Once the implant has healed, an abutment is attached, and a custom-made crown is placed. This crown is designed to match the color and shape of your natural teeth, resulting in a seamless, natural-looking smile.
